A Delaware Valley wrestler who wants to win a championship in memory of a brother killed in a 2004 car accident is among student-athletes scheduled to be featured Saturday during CBS Sports’ NCAA Winter Championships Highlights Show.

The hour-long seasonal show, scheduled at 1 p.m. Eastern time Saturday on CBS stations, features highlights from -- and stories about student-athletes participating in -- NCAA winter championships.

Wilcox and Aggie head coach Brandon Totten were interviewed during the Division III Wrestling Championships about how Mike has dedicated his quest to older brother Ricky Wilcox, according to Matt Levy, Delaware Valley’s sports information director.

Ricky, who also wrestled, died one day before his high school graduation, and since then, Mike has been on a mission to win for his brother.

He reached the state championships in New Jersey as a senior in high school and the junior college nationals while at Gloucester Community College, but did not attain his ultimate goal. Wilcox then transferred to Delaware Valley before the 2007-08 season and qualified for the Division III championships.

He advanced to the 184-pound finals before falling to unbeaten Wartburg junior Romeo Djoumessi. Wilcox plans to make one last run at a title during his senior season.

An annual charity race in the Wilcox’s home town of Buena, New Jersey, raises money for scholarships for graduating seniors of Buena High School. This year’s race is scheduled for June 14. More information on the race and scholarship is available at
