The NCAA is soliciting nominations by May 9 for the following Division III committee vacancies. Nominations must be submitted online here (the Division III access code is committee3; the Division III password is 2006).

Division III Financial Aid Committee: Immediate vacancy replacing Travis Feezell, formerly of Macalester College. There are no restrictions on this appointment. Committee information here. Staff contact: Jeff Myers.

Division III Women’s Lacrosse Committee: September 2008 vacancy.  Metro region administrator. Eligible conferences -- Centennial Conference, Landmark Conference, Middle Atlantic States Conference, Skyline Conference. Eligible independent institutions --  College of New Jersey, Rowan University, Saint Vincent College, Washington and Jefferson College. Committee information here. Men’s and Women’s Rifle Committee: September 2008 vacancy. Must be an administrator.  Can be from any division or subdivision. Eligible institutions -- John Jay College of Criminal Justice, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, State University of New York Maritime College, U.S. Coast Guard Academy, Wentworth Institute of Technology. Division III Men’s Soccer Committee: September 2008 vacancy. Metro region administrator. Eligible conferences  -- Landmark Conference (U.S. Merchant Marine Academy), New Jersey Athletic Conference, Skyline Conference, University Athletic Association (New York University). Division III Softball Committee:  September 2008 vacancy.  Great Lakes region coach or administrator. Eligible conferences -- College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin, Northern Athletics Conference, Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. Division III Men’s and Women’s Swimming and Diving Committee: September 2008 vacancy. West region coach or administrator. Eligible conferences -- Northwest Conference, Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. Division III Women’s Tennis Committee: September 2008 vacancy. West region coach or administrator. Eligible conferences -- Northwest Conference, Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference, Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. Division III Men’s and Women’s Track and Field Committee: Two September 2008 vacancies. South/Southeast and Central regions. One appointee must be a female; one must be an administrator; both must represent men’s track and field or cross country interests. Eligible South/Southeast conferences -- American Southwest Conference, Capital Athletic Conference, Great South Athletic Conference, Presidents’ Athletic Conference (Thomas More College), Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference, USA South Athletic Conference, University Athletic Association. Eligible South/Southeast independent institutions -- University of Dallas, Rust College. Eligible Central conferences -- Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, Midwest Conference, Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (Hendrix College).
