Monique Holland selected as director of athletics at Alabama State, her alma mater, where she has been associate AD since June. She also has held athletics administration positions at Clayton State, Georgia Tech and Georgia State and is a former NCAA membership services staff member. An Academic All-America basketball player at Alabama State, Holland also served as an assistant women’s basketball coach at Georgia Tech.

Assistant athletics director – Tommy McKnight appointed assistant AD for facilities and event management at UNC Wilmington. He previously was director of event management and game operations at Minnesota.
Coaches
Field hockey – Jana Woolley promoted from assistant at Columbia, where the former North Carolina all-American and assistant coach has been on the staff for two years.
Football – Carmen Felus named head coach at Juniata after three seasons as assistant head coach, offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Chattanooga. He also has coached at Shepherd and Indiana (Pennsylvania) … Dennis Creehan appointed at West Virginia Wesleyan. The former Edinboro, San Francisco State and South Dakota head coach served most recently as defensive coordinator of the Canadian Football League’s Hamilton Tiger Cats … Paul Rhoads selected at Iowa State after serving this season as defensive coordinator at Auburn and from 2000 to 2007 at Pittsburgh. He was an assistant at Iowa State in the late 1990s … David Cutcliffe signed a two-year contract extension through 2015 at Duke … Ron English named at Eastern Michigan after serving this season as defensive coordinator at Louisville. English, who also has been defensive coordinator at Michigan and served on staffs at San Diego State and Arizona State, is a former participant in the NCAA Expert Coaches Forum, designed to help ethnic minority football coaches prepare to assume a head coaching position.
Men’s golf – Brad Stracke appointed head coach at North Texas after three years as an assistant at Florida. The former UAB student-athlete also led Indian Hills Community College to a National Junior College Athletic Association title during a nine-year stint there.
Men’s ice hockey assistant – Mike Field joined the staff at American International, his alma mater.
Women’s lacrosse assistants – Meghan Keelan joined the staff at Bucknell after playing at UMBC … Brice Queener named at Siena after two seasons on the staff at Binghamton … Kimberly DeLorenzo named at Mercy, where she will assist her sister, Francesca DeLorenzo
Staff
Media relations assistant – Elizabeth Ryan named assistant director of athletics media relations at Georgia Southern, where she worked last year as a graduate student. She also has worked in athletics communications at North Carolina.
Sports information – Tiffani Sykes resigned as sports information director at Virginia Union.
Strength and conditioning – Ryan Sheppard hired as strength and conditioning coach at Birmingham-Southern.
