INDIANAPOLIS---The NCAA Division I Women's Rowing Committee has selected the teams that will compete in the NCAA Division I Women's Rowing Championships.
The championships will be held May 28-30 at CSUS Aquatic Center in Sacramento, California. California State University, Sacramento, will serve as host.
The team championship is comprised of 12 teams and each team is required to field two boats of eight rowers and one boat of four rowers. In addition, four eight-women boats from institutions not represented in the team competition are selected.

Harvard University bested perennial powers Brown University and University of Washington to capture its first championship last year at Eagle Creek Park in Indianapolis.
Harvard is the first team to beat Washington and Brown, which had won three titles apiece in the six previous years of the regatta.
The finals of the I Eights was a crucial race, allowing victorious Harvard, rowing in at 6:26.92, to earn 36 points and capture the team title. Brown took first place in the petite finals of the I Eights race, with Princeton coming in second.
