NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Committee Selects Preliminary-Round Sites for 2007-08 Championships

INDIANAPOLIS---The NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Committee has sites for the opening round, first and second rounds and regionals of the 2007 and 2008 championships. The administrative committee of the NCAA Championships/Competition Cabinet has approved the sites.

The following sites were selected for 2007:

OPENING ROUND

Dayton, Ohio; UD Arena; University of Dayton, host; Tuesday, March 13

FIRST AND SECOND ROUNDS

Buffalo, New York; HSBC Arena; Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference, Canisius College and Niagara University, co-hosts; Thursday and Saturday, March 15 and 17.

Chicago, Illinois; United Center; Big Ten Conference, host; Friday and Sunday, March 16 and 18.

Columbus, Ohio; Nationwide Arena; Ohio State University, host; March 16 and 18.

Lexington, Kentucky; Rupp Arena; University of Kentucky, host; March 16 and 18.

New Orleans, Louisiana; New Orleans Arena; Tulane University, host; March 16 and 18.

Sacramento, California; ARCO Arena; University of the Pacific, host; March 15 and 17.
