SAN ANTONIO---The National Collegiate Athletic Association announced today that it will debut the FastBreak Concession Card at the Alamodome during this weekend's Men's Final Four®.

The FastBreak Card is a prepaid card that can be used to purchase food, concession items and NCAA licensed merchandise at the Alamodome and other selected locations during the 2004 Men's Final Four. Fans can purchase the souvenir card with a face value of either $25 or $50 at the Alamodome, Hoop City or by logging on to www.FastBreakCard.com. There is no additional charge for the card. For added convenience, all major credit cards also will be accepted as payment for the FastBreak Card. A sure collector's item, the $50 card will feature the logos of Connecticut, Duke, Georgia Tech and Oklahoma State, while the $25 card features the 2004 Men's Final Four logo.

"The NCAA looks at the FastBreak Card as an enhancement to the fan experience at the Men's Final Four," said Greg Shaheen, vice-president of Division I Men's Basketball and Championship Strategies. "The card also will add convenience, speed and give the fans a unique collectible to take home from San Antonio."

Express VIP lines will be available at each of the permanent concession stands in the Alamodome that will allow fans to purchase food, drink and other items more quickly and conveniently. The FastBreak Cards also will be accepted at the portable merchandise and concession stands throughout the Alamodome.

In addition, the FastBreak Card can be used to purchase merchandise at official NCAA souvenir stands at selected hotels in San Antonio. At Hoop City, the cards can be used to purchase tickets at the box office, as well as souvenirs from the stands at the venue.

"The FastBreak Card has been a welcomed convenience for the fans where it has been introduced around the country," said Marc Ganis, president of Facility Acceptance Network, parent of the FastBreak Concession Card. "The explosive growth of card payment systems demonstrates the desire of the American public to further enhance the fan experience. We are delighted to introduce the FastBreak Card at the NCAA Men's Final Four, the premier amateur sports tournament in the nation."

Aramark provides all concessions and premium services at the Alamodome and Event 1 is the official NCAA merchandise retailer. Both companies are working on the debut of the FastBreak Cards at this weekend's Men's Final Four in San Antonio.
