INDIANAPOLIS---The NCAA, in conjunction with Butler University, the Horizon League and the Indianapolis Local Organizing Committee (ILOC), unveiled the 2005 NCAA Women's Final Four logo today during the National Federation of State High School Associations' National Girls and Women in Sports Day luncheon at Conseco Fieldhouse.

The 2005 Women's Final Four logo, in navy blue, brown, tan and gray colors, features an outline of the Indianapolis skyline and the RCA Dome overlay, a basketball element which signifies the sport's rich tradition in the state and around the region.

Butler and the Horizon League are the hosts for the 2005 Women's Final Four, April 3 and 5, at the RCA Dome. The RCA Dome will be set for a seating capacity of approximately 25,000. An estimated 9,000 of those seats will be allocated to the general public through the random computerized drawing supervised by the NCAA national office.

The 2005 NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Championship will begin with first and second rounds March 19 and 21, and March 20 and 22, at eight predetermined sites, which will be determined in June. The regionals will take place at the following dates and locations: March 26 and 28 - Mideast Regional: McKenzie Arena, Chattanooga, Tennessee, and West Regional: Wells Fargo Arena, Tempe, Arizona, and March 27 and 29 - East Regional: The Liacouras Center, Philadelphia, and Midwest Regional: Municipal Auditorium, Kansas City, Missouri.
