Statement By NCAA Vice-President For Enforcement Services David Price On Information Regarding Michigan State University Men's Basketball Coach Tom Izzo

"The NCAA enforcement staff interviewed numerous sources in its investigation of the University of Missouri, and it initiated contact with Tom Izzo, men's basketball coach at Michigan State University. Coach Izzo provided no specific information about NCAA violations at the University of Missouri.

"All of the materials that the NCAA enforcement staff has relied on to issue the notice of allegations have been made available to the involved parties in this investigation. NCAA enforcement procedures do not permit the NCAA enforcement staff to comment on specific elements of NCAA investigations. NCAA enforcement procedures do, however, make provision for correcting erroneous or incomplete information that has been made public in the course of NCAA investigations."
