INDIANAPOLIS---For the first time ever, the NCAA Hall of Champions will be open to the general public for 100 straight hours in celebration of its Centennial and the 2006 Mens Final Four Basketball Championships, Friday, March 31 through Tuesday, April 4. The Hall will open at 10 a.m. on March 31 and will not close for activity until 5 p.m., April 4.

"This is an exciting way for the NCAA to celebrate its 100-year anniversary and the 2006 Mens Final Four in Indianapolis," said George Smith, managing director of the Hall of Champions. "Were giving the community and basketball fans that come to Indianapolis a great opportunity at any hour of the day or night to visit the Hall and learn about the NCAA, collegiate student-athletes, the history of the Association, and our 23 sports and 88 championships. We hope that everyone will join in the fun."
