INDIANAPOLIS---The NCAA announced today that PrimeSport, a RazorGator company, will serve as the Official Ticket and Hospitality Package Provider for the 2008 NCAA Women’s Final Four.

The Women’s Final Four is one of the most popular women’s sporting events in the country, with its 16th consecutive sellout announced for the 2008 Women’s Final Four in Tampa Bay. PrimeSport and the NCAA will work closely to create a comprehensive program tailored to meet the needs of NCAA women’s basketball fans, the NCAA membership and other organizations and groups, to provide expanded opportunities to attend this year’s event. PrimeSport will provide complete event packages for individual fans and organizations looking to secure tickets directly from the NCAA’s official and exclusive source. Packages will include tickets, hospitality, and may also include hotel accommodations, transportation, planning, catering, sales, entertainment, décor and other event management services.

“The Women’s Final Four experience is special and expanding the NCAA agreement with PrimeSport to include this showcase event demonstrates the growing interest in women’s basketball, as well as the continued strategic growth of the NCAA’s approach to meeting the popularity of our fan base, our membership and the many organizations that want to join in the fun,” said Sue Donohoe, NCAA vice president for Division I Women’s Basketball.

“RazorGator already has demonstrated a progressive, high quality delivery with the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship and has the expertise to create and provide fans with high-quality event packages,” Donohoe said.

The NCAA entered into this agreement to further enhance the Women’s Final Four experience, further the Association’s branding efforts surrounding a key championship and reinforce efforts to preserve the integrity of the event.

“Being able to add the Women’s Final Four to our existing relationship with the NCAA is an honor for all of us at RazorGator,” said Jeff Lapin, Chief Executive Officer at RazorGator, Inc., the managing company of PrimeSport. “PrimeSport is a full-service event experience company meeting the needs of elite and progressive organizations such as the NCAA. We will provide ticket and hospitality packages that enhance the championship experience for women’s basketball fans.”
