NCAA Division II Winter Championships Broaden Audience with National TV, Internet Broadcasts

INDIANAPOLIS --- Nationally televised and online broadcasts of Division II winter championships will allow fans to enjoy the collegiate sports competition from the comfort of their homes. Championship games for men’s and women’s basketball, as well as wrestling, will be nationally televised, as well as syndicated in select local markets. Additional programming, such as the men’s and women’s basketball selection show, will also be available online at www.NCAAsports.com/DII.

The televised games will air on CSTV: College Sports Television, ESPN2, ESPNU and CBS throughout the month of March. In addition to live games, www.NCAAsports.com/DII powered by CSTV will feature stories, scores, blogs, video and audio that are dedicated to Division II sports, making it not only a destination site for live games, but for information on Division II sports. The winter championship broadcast schedule is below*.

The broadcast of the winter championships game provides a natural complement to the regular-season partnership with CSTV. The national broadcasts of regular season and championships games – both on television and online provides an amplified platform to highlight Division II contests and student-athlete accomplishments, while also promoting the intercollegiate athletics philosophy for Division II member institutions.
