Sites Selected for 2009 and 2010 Division I Men' and Women's Swimming and Diving Championships

INDIANAPOLIS---The NCAA Division I Women’s and Men’s Swimming and
Diving Committee has selected the final sites for the 2009 and 2010
championships.
In 2009, Texas A&M University will host the NCAA Men’s and Women’s
Swimming and Diving Championships in College Station, Texas, at the
Student Recreation Center Natatorium. The women will compete March
19-21 followed by the men’s competition March 26-28. The Aggies have a
history of hosting NCAA championships including the women’s swimming
and diving in 2004 and the men’s swimming and diving in 2001.
In 2010, Purdue University will host the women’s championships March
18-20 in West Lafayette, Indiana, at the Boilermaker Aquatics
Center. Purdue previously hosted the women’s events in 2005.
Ohio State University will serve as the host for the 2010 men’s
championships March 25-27 in Columbus, Ohio, at the Bill and Mae
McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion. Also slated to host the 2008 women’s
swimming and diving championships, the Buckeyes have a history of
hosting the men’s championships on four occasions dating back to 1943.
The 2007 Men’s and Women’s Swimming and Diving Championships will be
held at the University of Minnesota Aquatic Center in Minneapolis on
March 8-10 for the women and March 15-17 for the men. The University of
Minnesota, Twin Cities, will serve at the host.
