Unique Opportunity For Fans To Lock In NCAA March Madness® Seats

CHICAGO ---  The NCAA and TicketRESERVE (www.ncaa.com/fanforward) today launched the 2008 NCAA Men's Final Four Marketplace at 1 p.m. CST.

Through TicketRESERVE’s unique online forward marketplace, officially sanctioned by the NCAA, college basketball fans will have the opportunity to cheer on their favorite team in-person at the 2008 NCAA Men’s Final Four in San Antonio by reserving face-value tickets in advance. The NCAA and TicketRESERVE marketplace offers fans an innovative and fun way to bypass the stress and expense of looking for postseason tickets at the last minute, by locking in their seats now at www.ncaa.com/fanforward.

In order to participate, fans simply log onto www.ncaa.com/fanforward, choose the NCAA basketball marketplace, then scroll down to select their favorite team.  To reserve a face-value ticket, fans purchase a “FanFORWARD® Reservation,” which guarantees one ticket should their team qualify for the NCAA Men’s Final Four.  For example, if someone holds two NCAA Final Four FanFORWARD Reservations for North Carolina, and the Tar Heels advance to the NCAA Men’s Final Four, that holder has the right and obligation to purchase two NCAA Men’s Final Four tickets for the face-value price.

“As the event continues to grow, our priority has been to provide fans with a variety of options for access to the Men’s Final Four – the most accessible national sporting event in the country. Joining with TicketRESERVE is a perfect complement to our ticket and hospitality program and general public ticket drawing. TicketRESERVE assures fans of any school that makes it to the NCAA Men’s Final Four the opportunity to experience the most exciting weekend in sports,” said Greg Shaheen, senior vice president of the NCAA.

Initial FanFORWARD Reservation prices are as low as $20 and will increase or decrease as the respective fortunes of NCAA basketball teams rise and fall throughout the 2007-08 season.  FanFORWARD Reservations for all Division I schools are available for the NCAA Men’s Final Four and can be traded among fans on the dynamic TicketRESERVE marketplace.

“We are excited to provide NCAA basketball fans with access to face-value tickets to see their favorite teams in the NCAA Men’s Final Four, guaranteeing the most fun and energetic atmosphere at the Alamodome in San Antonio,” said Rick Harmon, Chief Executive Officer of TicketRESERVE.
