NCAA Launches 2009 Women's Final Four Web Site

INDIANAPOLIS---The NCAA is launching a new dedicated Web site in conjunction with St. Louis hosting the 2009 Women’s Final Four.

This site, www.NCAA.com/finalfour, is devoted to providing visitor, volunteer, participant and fan information regarding the 2009 Women’s Final Four, as well as the ancillary programs surrounding the event.

“We are excited to be in St. Louis for the 2009 Women's Final Four and we know that there will be many interesting and exciting events going on in addition to the games that fans will want to pay attention to as they plan for the event," said Jacki Silar, chair of the NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Committee and associate director of athletics at Duke University.  "This Web site is a one-stop shop for all fans looking for Women's Final Four information.”

The new Web site is the primary source for information on the 2009 Women’s Final Four, which takes place April 5 and 7, 2009, at the Scottrade Center in downtown St. Louis.  The latest information on the games and the related activities, including the 4Kay Run Presented by The Hartford®, NCAA Hoop City® Refreshed by Coca-Cola®, the NCAA YES® (Youth Education through Sports) Clinics Fueled by POWERade®, March to the Arch Fueled by POWERade®, and the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association Convention will be updated regularly. 

Through this site, fans will have the opportunity to secure hotel rooms, register for volunteer opportunities and activities, and read about the latest news surrounding the 2009 Women’s Final Four while gaining access to St. Louis’ sightseeing, restaurant and shopping options.
