Official Ticket and Hospitality Package Provider for the NCAA Men’s Final Four Enhances Fractional Suite Offering by Dedicating Four Suites to Fans of Each Final Four Team
LOS ANGELES (March 30, 2009) – It’s doubtful that Villanova, Connecticut, North Carolina, or Michigan State fans ever thought they’d be attending a homecoming of sorts at Detroit’s Ford Field, but that’s exactly the atmosphere they’ll be getting with Team Suites from PrimeSport, the Official Ticket and Hospitality Package Provider for the 2009 NCAA Men’s Final Four.
Already first-to-market with its factional suite solution of selling individual tickets to luxury boxes at the 2009 NCAA Men’s Final Four, PrimeSport is enhancing the offering by catering four suites to fans of each Final Four team, which is another example of the NCAA and its partners working to revolutionize the fan experience.
The Team Suites, equitable in location within the stadium, will be decked out in school colors and logos, providing an atmosphere fans usually only find at their home court. Additionally, each purchase includes a base catering package consisting of in-suite food and beverages, an official NCAA Men’s Final Four game program, a private attendant and a PrimeSport suite hospitality manager to oversee planning and service.
“We want fans to enjoy and remember the experience they get with a Final Four Team Suite as much as they enjoy and remember the exciting action on the court,” said Sharyn Outtrim, vice president of special events with PrimeSport. “We’re offering the Team Suites because we know how important it is for fans to be surrounded by fellow supporters of their team, and to soak in as much of the event as possible in an exclusive suite.”
Each Team Suite will also receive an exclusive visit by an NCAA coach for photo opportunities, allowing fans an intimate opportunity to meet some of the game’s brightest coaches.
The Team Suites are listed on RazorGator.com by team name, and can be purchased for $1,495 each, which includes tickets to all three games of the 2009 Men’s Final Four. A $50 donation per ticket purchased will be donated to the NCAA Men’s Final Four Legacy Program. The Legacy Program is a partnership between the NCAA, the Detroit Local Organizing Committee and the United Way Southeastern Michigan to provide funding and support to establish four early learning and literacy centers in the Detroit community. The early learning centers will be designed to enhance school readiness and will focus on early childhood reading; positive family, friend and neighbor-child relationships; and child development, through training and access to literary materials for young children and their caregivers.
RazorGator has been operating as the Official Fan2Fan Ticket Exchange for the NCAA Men’s Final Four for three years and PrimeSport is in its third year managing the NCAA’s Final Four Ticket and Hospitality Packages, coordinating all aspects of the process from selling tickets to planning the customer experience, and on-site event management.
In addition to the SUITE Experience, the NCAA and PrimeSport have three other hospitality options available to NCAA customers this year at a variety of price points: the SCHOOL Experience program is a turn-key option for pregame parties at preferred venues adjacent to Ford Field, targeted to the participating universities’ president’s offices, athletics departments and alumni groups; the ELITE Experience is an all-inclusive option featuring a pregame party at Detroit’s Gem Theater along with the only general public on-site hospitality at Ford Field; and the FAN Experience that is included in the purchase price of all 2009 NCAA Men’s Final Four tickets purchased from RazorGator, offering fans another pregame party option in the COBO Center, adjacent to NCAA Hoop City® refreshed by Coca-Cola®.
