NCAA Announces Division I Women's Golf 2010 Regional and Championship Sites

INDIANAPOLIS – The NCAA Division I Women’s Golf Committee announced today the regional and championship sites for the 2010 Division I Women’s Golf Championship.

The three regional hosts and sites are as follows: Indiana University will host the Central Regional Championships at the Otter Creek Golf Club in Columbus, Ind.; East Carolina University will serve as host of the East Regional Championships at the Ironwood Country Club in Greenville, N.C.; and Stanford University will host the West Regional Championships at the Stanford Golf Course in Stanford, Cal.. All regional championships will be played from May 6-8.

The eight lowest scoring teams, as well as the two lowest scoring individuals not on an advancing team, from each of the three regional championships will qualify for the NCAA Division I Women’s Golf Championship.  The championship will be held May 18-21 at the Country Club of Landfall in Wilmington, N.C., with the University of North Carolina, Wilmington serving as the host school.
