INDIANAPOLIS – The NCAA Men’s and Women’s Rifle Committee has announced Texas Christian University will host the 2010 National Collegiate Men’s and Women’s Rifle Championships. The championships will be held March 12 – 13 at Daniel-Meyer Coliseum, marking the second straight year they will take place on the TCU campus.

“The committee couldn’t be more excited to return the rifle championships to TCU,” said Paul Klimitas, chair of the NCAA Men’s and Women’s Rifle Committee and associate athletic director at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. “TCU tried and succeeded in taking this championship to another level last year and we know that it will only be better in 2010.”

“The ability to host this championship in a venue like Daniel-Meyer Coliseum makes it not only fan-friendly, but a really special experience for the student-athletes who get to display their skills in a top-notch, championship environment,” added Klimitas.
