INDIANAPOLIS – The NCAA National Collegiate Men’s Gymnastics Committee has selected Columbus, Ohio, as the host site for the 2011 NCAA National Collegiate Men’s Gymnastics Championship. Hosted by The Ohio State University, the 2011 championship will be conducted April 15 and 16 at St. John Arena, with national qualifying competition taking place April 14.

The 2011 championship will mark the third time Ohio State has hosted the National Collegiate Men’s Gymnastics Championship as the university previously welcomed the event to campus in 1995 and 2001.

“The committee is excited about bringing the championship back to Ohio State,” said Robb Dunn, chair of the NCAA National Collegiate Men’s Gymnastics Committee and associate athletic director at the U.S. Naval Academy. “Ohio State is a first-class university with an outstanding staff that we know will provide an exceptional championship experience for the participating student-athletes.”

The 2010 National Collegiate Men’s Gymnastics Championship will take place April 16 and 17 at the Holleder Center on the campus of the U.S. Military Academy in West Point, N.Y.
