Tickets for the 2010 NCAA Division I Men's Ice Hockey Regionals on Sale

INDIANAPOLIS---The NCAA Division I Men’s Ice Hockey Committee has announced the dates and times for the start of ticket sales for the 2010 men’s ice hockey regionals. All regional tickets are being sold as a three-game package at each site through March 21. If any of the four sites are not sold out by March 21, tickets will be available for individual sessions at an increased price.

Individuals buying tickets in the first month they go on sale will also have the opportunity to win two tickets to the 2010 Men’s Frozen Four in Detroit. Each region will award a pair of tickets to a person who is randomly selected from those who purchased tickets through the Internet, in-person or by phone.

Tickets for the Northeast regional at the DCU Center in Worcester, Mass., (hosted by the College of the Holy Cross) will go on sale at 10 a.m. Eastern, Oct. 1. Fans can purchase tickets by visiting the DCU Center box office, by calling 800/745-3000 or by logging onto www.ticketmaster.com. Start times for the first-round games are 1:30 and 5 p.m. Eastern, March 27, while the regional final is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Eastern, March 28. Tickets for the three-game package are $85.

East regional tickets at the Times Union Center in Albany, N.Y.,(hosted by Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and ECAC Hockey) will go on sale Nov. 2 at 10 a.m. Eastern. Tickets can be purchased by calling 800/303-8368, logging onto www.tickets.com or by stopping by the Times Union Center box office. Start times for the first-round games are 3 and 6:30 p.m. Eastern, March 26, while the regional final is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Eastern, March 27. Tickets for the three-game package are $82 for adults and $76 for youth under the age of 18.

The Midwest regional at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne, Ind., (hosted by the University of Notre Dame) will have tickets on sale starting at 10 a.m. Eastern, Oct. 1. First-round game start times are at 4 and 7:30 p.m. Eastern, March 27, while the regional final is at 8 p.m. Eastern, March 28. Tickets for the three-game package are $85 and $75 for youth under the age of 18, and can be obtained by calling 800/745-3000, online at www.ticketmaster.com or in-person at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum box office.

Tickets for the West regional at Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minn., (hosted by the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities) will go on sale Oct. 1 at 10 a.m. Central. The first-round contests are at 4:30 and 8 p.m. Central, March 26, while the regional final is scheduled for 8 p.m. Central, March 27. Three-game ticket packages are available for $94 and can be purchased at the Xcel Energy Center box office, logging onto www.ticketmaster.com or by calling 800/745-3000.

If any of the aforementioned host institutions are selected to participate in the 2010 NCAA Division I Men’s Ice Hockey Championship, they will be assigned to their host site.
