2010 NCAA Women’s Final Four To Be Viewed By Millions Around The World

INDIANAPOLIS---In addition to its national telecast on the ESPN family of networks and availability online via ESPN360.com, the 2010 NCAA Women’s Final Four will be distributed to 82 countries around the world, including Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Chile, Egypt, Mexico, South Africa and Venezuela. Coverage of the women’s basketball championship in Canada will be carried by The Score network.

 “We are thrilled with the growing exposure of women’s basketball, as evidenced by the increasing number of countries carrying the Women’s Final Four for their viewers,” said Sue Donohoe, NCAA vice president for Division I women’s basketball. “We couldn’t be more pleased that college basketball fans in countries throughout Asia, Europe, Africa, Central and South America and the Caribbean will be able to view this year’s women’s championship.”

Sunday’s first national semifinal game features Oklahoma against Stanford, tipping off at 7 p.m. ET. Baylor will then face Connecticut 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first national semifinal game.
