INDIANAPOLIS – The NCAA Division III Men’s Golf Committee announced Greensboro, NC, will serve as the host for the 2011 NCAA Division III Men’s Golf Championship. The event will be held at the Grandover Resort on May 10-13, with Guilford College and the Greensboro Sports Commission serving as the hosts.
“The committee is excited to take our championship to Greensboro and the Grandover Resort,” said Chris Gage, chair of the NCAA Division III Men’s Golf Committee and director of athletics at the University of Texas at Dallas. “The Greensboro group has done a tremendous job in hosting previous championships, and we believe the two courses on site will provide a quality test of golf and an outstanding experience for our student-athletes.”
The 2010 championship is scheduled for May 11-14 at the Hershey Country Club and Hershey Links, in Hershey, Pa.
