INDIANAPOLIS--- The NCAA Division I Men's Lacrosse Committee has selected Harvard University and Hofstra University to serve as hosts for the 2011 NCAA Division I Men’s Lacrosse Quarterfinals.
Hofstra will host games at Shuart Stadium in Hempstead, N.Y., on May 21, 2011, while Gillette Stadium will host all of the Harvard quarterfinal match-ups in Foxborough, Mass., on May 22, 2011.
“We have already seen first-hand what a great job both of these sites have done in the past,” said Tim Pavlechko, chair of the Division I Men’s Lacrosse Committe and associate athletics director at Bucknell University. “With Gillette Stadium hosting the NCAA Men’s Lacrosse Championships in 2008 and 2009, and Shuart Stadium hosting successful quarterfinals on numerous occasions, both have shown they are well-equipped to put on a great championship event. We are looking forward to an exciting lacrosse weekend in both Foxborough and Hempstead in 2011.”
