INDIANAPOLIS --- The NCAA Hall of Champions is offering sports teams and organized groups reduced admission this summer and an opportunity to win a $25 sports gift card for each team member by participating in its Summer Fun Challenge, which takes place June through August.

The Summer Fun Challenge consists of trivia questions on the NCAA’s 23 sports and 88 championships and five physical activities to include jump exercises, a free throw contest in the retro gym and competitions utilizing the sport simulators in the Hall of Champions.   Teams and groups that participate will be entered in a monthly drawing for a chance to win a $25 sports gift card for each of its members.

Additionally, team and group members who participate in the Summer Fun Challenge will be admitted to the Hall at the reduced rate of $3 per member when taking the Challenge.  Team and group members will also be treated to complimentary refreshments at the Hall during their Challenge.

Teams and groups can enter the Summer Fun Challenge by registering on the NCAA Hall of Champions web site at www.ncaahallofchampions.org.    Participants must be between the ages of 6 and 18 and meet minimum requirements.    There is a minimum of five members and a maximum of 25 members for each team/group.    As an example, teams or groups can consist of but are not limited to sports teams, youth groups, community or neighborhood teams, and corporate teams.   A drawing for the $25 gift cards will take place near the end of June, July and August.   Each winning team or group will have its photo displayed on the Hall of Champions web site each month through the duration of the Challenge.

“This is an excellent opportunity for teams and groups to possibly earn a little extra money for their summer needs or to reward themselves,” said Damon Schoening, director of the NCAA Hall of Champions.  “We hope that the community will come out and take the Challenge, have a little competitive fun, and enjoy themselves.”
