INDIANAPOLIS---The NCAA Hall of Champions is partnering with USA Football to host a Family Football Fun Day, Saturday, Sept. 4, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The event will be the NCAA’s first with USA Football, which relocated to Indianapolis earlier this summer.    The non-contact clinic at the Hall of Champions is for boys and girls ages 6-13 and includes football instruction and games, a picnic lunch, photo opportunities, giveaways and admission to the Hall.  USA Football staff and coaches will conduct the clinic. Parents also are invited to the day of development, learning and fun at the Hall of Champions, located in the White River State Park.

“When we learned that USA Football was relocating its headquarters in Indianapolis, we immediately started to think about how we could welcome them to the community in a meaningful way,” said Damon Schoening, NCAA director of brand strategies and events.   “What better way to engage with them and the community than through youth-based football programming that will be fun and educational for the entire family.  We’re honored to partner with USA Football on this family event.”

”We’re proud to be part of the Indianapolis community and serve our area’s youngsters at Football Family Fun Day with the NCAA,” USA Football executive director Scott Hallenbeck said. “This is a terrific way to enjoy a day outdoors, have the kids learn some football pointers and kick off the football season.”

The cost of the clinic is $10 for adults and $5 for boys and girls.  A portion of the proceeds will go to the United Way of Central Indiana.   Registration for parents and boys and girls is on the NCAA Hall of Champions web site at www.ncaahallofchampions.org.
