INDIANAPOLIS --- The NCAA and the Baltimore Local Organizing Committee have announced the musical group Parachute will perform a free concert in conjunction with the 2010 NCAA Divisions I, II and III Men's Lacrosse Championships. The concert will take place on Saturday, May 29, at Power Plant Live in Baltimore, Maryland.
The Virginia-based pop-rock band, whose album Losing Sleep reached No. 39 on the Billboard 200 and was No. 1 on iTunes and Amazon, will perform in the Baltimore Inner Harbor following the NCAA Division I Semifinal games. The games are set for 4 and 6:30 p.m. Eastern at M&T Bank Stadium.
“We are looking forward to performing in front of the most passionate NCAA lacrosse fans in the nation when we come to Baltimore in May,” said Will Anderson, lead vocalist for Parachute. “The sport of lacrosse is huge in our area and we have always been lacrosse fans ourselves. We know what a great weekend it is for all those involved in the championship and we are excited to be a part of it.”
